Everyone! Self-defense is a right for all people and very important. Active shooters, home defense, and deadly protestors are all examples of everyday situations you could be involved in. Knowing how to navigate these through training will prepare you if/when disasters like these arise.
Airsoft originally developed as a team-based game that used model firearms that mimicked real firearms, except that they shot plastic, spherical projectiles (BB's) intended not to kill. Teams would eliminate one another by "shooting" each other with the plastic BB's. Since then, airsoft has become a staple of real firearms training, since airsoft firearms today function almost identically to real firearms.
Force-on-force simply means person vs person. In the case of our training, students will be going against instructors. This is not a free for all, and we are not here to shoot you as much as possible. Instructors will be placed in strategic positions within the shoot house to ensure students are performing the correct tactics. This will induce stress forcing students to think and use everything they have learned.
Please bring lunch for each course. There is a microwave and fridge provided. Bring note taking gear, eye protection if you have it (clear lens for inside), and comfortable footwear (NO OPEN TOE SHOES OR SANDALS). For the 2-day Building/Room Clearing Advanced course, please bring a long sleeve shirt and pants at a minimum! We also suggest gloves, a neck gator or shemagh, and a coat or thick sweatshirt too. If you have your own airsoft firearms and gear, you may bring those as well. All safety gear and airsoft equipment will be provided.
These courses contain a lot of hands-on knowledge, so be prepared to work! You will be learning a lot of new things, so please bring a good attitude and open mind! Airsoft can be painful, so please check the "what should I bring" section for clothing suggestions if attending our Building/Room Clearing - Advanced course .
